Admissions

Beech Hyde is a County Maintained Primary School with two Nursery Classes.

Currently Hertfordshire County Council is responsible for the allocation of places in the Reception class. The appropriate information and forms are sent directly to parents who are registered with local doctors. Prospective parents are encouraged to visit the school. Please telephone in advance to make an appointment.

For the Academic Year 2018-2019 we are extremely excited to be expanding our nursery provision to enable parents to access the 30 hours free childcare at Beech Hyde.  From September 2018, we will be continuing with our usual morning and afternoon sessions to provide the 15 hours universal provision, but will also be offering some 30 hours provision.  There will be no centralised admissions in this year, so you will need to apply directly to Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery. Please find below our Nursery Admissions Arrangements including important dates and an application form.

We look forward to welcoming your child into our school setting.
