World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day
by Beechhyde Editor School News

At Beech Hyde, we recognise the importance of being able to have open conversations with our pupils about mental health and look for ways in which we can promote this.  During the day, each class took part in a range of activities including the Daily Mile, talking about ways to keep mentally healthy and designing our network hands.  Network hands are a valuable tool for helping children to identify people they can talk to about any worries, both at home and at school.  In Year 6, the children designed ‘positivity pebbles’, which they will be hiding around the village – keep your eyes open for them and do let us know if you find one!
