Pupil Premium

The government introduced new funding arrangements for schools in 2011. One of the key changes was the introduction of the Pupil Premium, which is linked to the number of pupils receiving free school meals (FSM).

Beech Hyde has adopted and continues to adopt a range of strategies in raising attainment and progression of disadvantaged children. These include; 1:1 tuition, additional teaching and support staff, interventions as well as provision mapping for children eligible for free school meals. The full document is available below.
