We offer wrap around care (7.30am - 6pm) in partnership with WASPS, who operate a breakfast and after school provision on site. Please see their offer here.
Our morning Nursery school provides the 15 hours universal provision that runs from 08.30am - 11.30am. Our Nursery is bright, spacious, well resourced and full of fun and adventure. We focus on child centred learning and play.
Due to our partnership with the Early Bird Pre-School, located next to our Nursery building, children can attend this provision from 11.30am onwards to enable parents to access a longer day for their child/ 30 hours free childcare. They handle transfer between the adjacent sites and can offer a wrap around care option. Please see their offer here.
Why chose a Nursery School place?
Our Nursery curriculum feeds into the main school curriculum which means that children entering reception having been to our nursery are more confident with the transition. Our nursery is staffed by a fully qualified primary/nursery teacher and Early Years Practitioners, and therefore the quality of education is outstanding. Consequently, we find that children joining Reception classes from our nursery, often make better progress than those who have not. Our Nursery children are made to feel a full part of the school, going over to the main building for PE, assemblies and to join in other events.
Allocations for Nursery are made directly to Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery. Please find below our nursery Admissions Arrangements and an application form.
