Currently Hertfordshire County Council is responsible for the allocation of places in the Reception class. The appropriate information and forms are sent directly to parents who are registered with local doctors. Prospective parents are encouraged to visit the school. Please telephone in advance to make an appointment. For further information, please click here

Currently we have a morning Nursery to provide the 15 hours universal provision that runs from 08.30am - 11.30am. Depending on applications, we would like to increase this to accommodate an afternoon session and possibly all day, to enable parents to access the 30 hours free childcare at Beech Hyde. Allocations for Nursery are made directly to Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery. Please find below our nursery Admissions Arrangements, including important dates and an application form.

We look forward to welcoming your child into our setting.

Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery is a feeder primary school for St. Albans Girls’ School.
